The low pressure that gave us some scattered showers and thunderstorms yesterday is moving slowly east from the Gulf of Maine as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes. We should see plenty of sunshine and less haze as the smoke from the wildfires move to our south. Highs should be at or a little above 80 degrees.

Another pleasantly warm day on Monday with plenty of sunshine.

A weak frontal system may cause some showers on Tuesday along with cooler temperatures.

Dry and seasonably cool weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Summerlike warmth with increasing humidity Friday into the weekend with a chance of showers each day.

The low pressure that gave us the showers and thunderstorms yesterday afternoon is slowly moving off the New England coast as high pressure builds from the Great Lakes. Skies will be mostly sunny with only a low chance of an afternoon shower. There will be widespread haze developing by this afternoon from the Canadian wildfires.

The high pressure will build closer to us on Sunday giving us a mostly sunny day with seasonably warm temperatures.

Much of next week will be dry, temperatures will be near normal on Monday, slightly below normal with an onshore wind Tuesday and Wednesday and then slightly above normal for Thursday and Friday.

Father’s Day looks to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures.
