Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from 63 in Clifton down to 56 at Vernon, these readings are about 10 degrees milder than this time yesterday. Winds are light from the north. The humidity is still on the low side with dew points mainly in the low 50s.

High pressure will build into our area today giving us mostly sunny skies after some early morning cloudy skies, temperature will be near seasonable levels with highs in the mid to upper 70s. The humidity will remain comfortable with dew points in the 50s.

As the high pressure moves off the coast a return flow of warmer and somewhat more humid air on Sunday, temperatures will be well up into the 80s and the humidity will slowly increase with dew points in the low 60s.

Another warm and humid day on Monday and a cold front may cause some showers Monday afternoon and at night. Highs will be again well up into the 80s and dew points in the 60s.

Wednesday will be warm with mostly sunny skies and slightly less humidity as a weak high pressure moves into the area.

Thursday will be another warm day but a cold front will cross the area at night preceded by a chance of showers.

Much cooler and drier air for Friday.

Very pleasant weather for the last weekend of summer with sunny skies both days, highs will be near 80 on Saturday and well up into the 80s on Sunday. The humidity will slowly increase with dew points in the low 60s by Sunday.

Mainly dry and warm weather much of next week with only a 40% chance of a shower on Monday as a weak cold front crosses our area.

A weak cold front moved to our south overnight and high pressure will build into the area today providing the area with sunny skies, seasonably cool temperatures and very low humidity with dew points falling into the 40s.

With clear skies overnight and calm winds we should have the coolest temperatures in three months with lows falling into the low 50s with much of the inland areas in the 40s. Sunshine during the day on Friday as high pressure will be in our area, high temperatures will be a few degrees higher than today.

Delightfully warm weather with plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday with warmer temperatures and only a slight increase in humidity.

Looking ahead next week looks to be mainly dry with above normal temperatures continuing, the only chance of a shower will be Monday afternoon and evening but at this time the precipitation probably is only 30%.

Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 70 in Clifton down to 65 at High Point, Vernon and Wantage. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high with dew points near 70. .81″ of rainfall has fallen since midnight at my station in Clifton.

The front that caused the overnight showers and thunderstorms will be moving offshore this morning and the rain should end by sunrise. Cloudy skies this morning will be followed by partial clearing this afternoon. there is still a low chance of an afternoon shower. Dew points that are near 70 this morning will fall to the 50s by this evening.

Wednesday will be a sunny day with seasonably warm temperatures, another cold front will come through dry in the afternoon.

Dry weather will continued Thursday through at least the beginning of next weekend. Temperatures will be at or slightly below normal Thursday and Friday and rise to above normal by Sunday.

Looking further ahead dry weather with unseasonably warm temperatures are likely much of next week.
