Luckily the Clifton area missed the heavy rain and strong thunderstorms overnight. However parts of western New Jersey received over 2 inches, but the line of storms weakened by the time it reached our area. My station only had .01″ of rain around 1 a.m.

Friday looks to be a nice day with temperatures near normal and it will be a bit breezy with gusts to 20-25 mph along with less humid air.

High pressure will dominate our weather for the weekend. Saturday’s high will be near normal and above normal on Sunday.

Warm and mainly dry weather Monday through at least Wednesday.
