Today will be another sunny and cool day with light winds. High temperatures may be a couple of degrees milder than yesterday. Strong high pressure continued to dominate our weather.

Dry weather Monday through Thursday and it will be mild. High pressure will be in control of weather except for a weak cold front that will pass to our south Wednesday night.

The next chance of rain will be Friday into Saturday as a strong cold front moves through our area followed by cooler weather for Sunday.

Skies are mainly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures have fallen to the lowest so far this season with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 38 in Clifton down to 29 at Walpack, these temperatures however are only a couple of degrees below normal. There is patchy frost in parts of the area and winds are mainly calm or light westerly.

An extended period of dry weather is expected tomorrow through early next week as high pressure will dominate. There will be a coastal storm developing on the weekend but should stay well east of the area to affect our weather. Temperatures will be below normal tomorrow through Saturday, near normal on Sunday and then above normal through at least early next week.
