A strong cold front is expected to move through the area this afternoon with showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms, the best chance of the storms will be between 3-4 p.m., some strong gusty winds are possible. Much colder air will follow the front and temperatures will plummet tonight with readings falling to the 30s by tomorrow morning. Winds will continue to be gusty out of the west.

Thursday will feel more like mid March rather than late April with highs only in the low 50s and it will feel colder with winds gusting to 35 mph at times.

Friday will start off chilly but milder air will move into the area by the afternoon along with mostly sunny skies. Winds will still be brisk but not as strong as on Thursday.

Most of Saturday will be dry and mild but another low pressure area will likely give us rain Saturday night into Sunday morning!

Looking ahead to next week it looks like it will be mainly dry with a warming trend.

Today will be the nicest day of this week as high pressure will give us a southwest flow of quite mild air, temperatures throughout the area with be in the 70s. Winds will be a little brisk with gusts to 25 mph.

A strong cold front will cause showers and thunderstorms mainly tomorrow afternoon into the evening, some of these storms may be quite strong with possible gusty winds. High temperatures will be in the 60s but plummet at night dropping to the 30s by Thursday morning along with gusty winds.

Thursday will be mostly sunny but it will be windy and unseasonably cool with highs only reaching the low 50s.

Dry weather with moderating temperatures Friday into Saturday.

Low pressure will likely give us rain on Sunday.

Today will start off partly sunny but we should see some increase in clouds this afternoon with a chance of a shower or even a thunderstorm later this afternoon and this evening, high temperatures should be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday.

Tomorrow will be the nicest day of this week with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s.

A strong cold front will be moving through our area Wednesday afternoon or evening with a good chance of showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms. After the frontal passage temperatures will plummet falling to the 30s by Thursday morning with brisk winds.

Thursday will be dry but chilly and windy with highs only in the low 50s, it will feel like an early March day.

Low pressure off the Maine coast that gave us mostly cloudy and cool conditions yesterday will slowly move further offshore as high pressure builds into our area. Skies will continue to be mostly cloudy but temperatures will rise into the 60s by this afternoon.

Still mostly cloudy on Monday and it will be mild, a weak disturbance that will give us a slight chance of showers, but most if not all of the day will be dry.

Tuesday will be the nicest day of this upcoming week with mostly sunny skies and temperatures rising into the 70s.

High pressure will give us mild weather Monday and Tuesday with highs well up into the 60s on Monday and into the low 70s on Tuesday.
