Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and it is unseasonably mild with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 60 in Clifton down to 45 at Walpack. There are some sprinkles falling in parts of our area. Winds are light mainly from the southwest.

A weak cold front will cross the area this morning accompained by some clouds and sprinkles. Gradual clearing is expected and it still will be mild but not as warm as yesterday’s record high with temperatures mainly in the 60s.

A strong cold front will cross the area tonight with no precipitation but northwest winds could gust to 47 mph and a wind advisory is in effect for late tonight into early Saturday morning.

The weekend will be dry but cooler, temperatures will be near normal on Saturday and a little above normal on Sunday.

Colder air will move in for early next week. Lows Monday morning will be well down into the 20s and only reach to around 40 during the day.

Tuesday will still be chilly and a weak low pressure will give us a chance of rain that may be mixed with snow in the morning.

After a chance of showers Wednesday morning we should be dry the rest of the day into Thursday with moderating temperatures.

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there is some fog in parts of the area. Temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 44 in Clifton, down to 36 at Walpack, winds are mainly calm.

A southwest flow of warm air will be with us today and skies will clear after early morning fog. Temperatures will rise to near 70 degrees with some areas reaching the mid 70s.

A weak cold front will cross the area Friday morning with a low chance of light showers. It will still be quite mild with highs well up into the 60s but there will be a brisk wind. A second cold front will come through dry Friday night.

The weekend will be dry and cooler with near seasonably temperatures as high pressure dominates our weather.

Below normal temperatures are likely Monday and Tuesday and near normal on Wednesday. A weak low pressure will give us a slight chance of showers Tuesday into Wednesday but most areas will continue with our dry pattern.

Strong high pressure over New England will give our area an onshore flow of slightly cooler air today along with mostly sunny skies.

Warmer again Thursday and Friday with highs both days in the upper 60s to some low 70s. The only chance of rain will be Friday morning as a cold front approaches the area.

Dry weather is expected for the weekend with cooler temperatures.

Cool early next week and there will be another low chance of showers Tuesday that may be mixed with snow in the morning.

Today will be much milder as high pressure builds into the area. Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning but become mostly sunny this afternoon with highs in the 60s. It will be breezy this afternoon as a weak cold front crosses the area with winds becoming northwest.

Tomorrow will be somewhat cooler as high pressure moves offshore and a light onshore flow develops keeping high temperatures in the 50s.

Very mild to warm Thursday and Friday as a southwest flow develops. A cold front will give our area a low chance of showers on Friday. High temperatures both days will be well up into the 60s with a 70 degree reading possible.

The weekend looks to be mainly dry with cooler temperatures.

High pressure building in from the west will give us a mostly sunny day today, temperatures will rise into the 40s after a chilly start this morning!

Much milder on Tuesday along with sunshine temperatures should rise into the 60s which would make it the warmest temperature since the end of November.

Still sunny on Wednesday but an onshore flow will keep temperatures a little lower with highs in the 50s.

Very mild again Thursday and Friday with the only chance of rain is with possible showers on Friday as a cold front crosses the area.

At this time the weekend looks to be mainly dry but cooler.
