A back door cold front came through last night accompanied by some thunderstorms. Today high pressure over New England will give us a mostly sunny day after early morning cloudiness, temperatures will be a little lower than the last couple of days.

High pressure building into our area will give us another sunny day on Sunday but the temperatures will rise again with highs in the low 90s.

Next week will be quite warm to hot with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, but each day will not be a washout and most areas will remain dry. The humidity levels will increase each day and by the end of the week the dew points will be near or above 70 degrees.

Today will be warmer as the upper level low that has caused shower and thunderstorm activity the last few days has moved away and weak high pressure will build into the area. With plenty of sunshine, temperatures will be near 90. The humidity will not be that bad with dew points in the low 60s.

On Friday a back door cold front will give us a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. It will continue to be quite warm and the humidity will rise with dew points in the upper 60s.

The weather for Independence Day will be quite nice with near seasonable temperatures along with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.

Sunday will be a little warmer and skies will be mostly sunny.

Next week will be quite warm to hot. A weak disturbance may touch off some showers on Monday.

The upper low disturbance in our area will continue to give us mostly cloudy skies today with again a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Some of the rain may be heavy at times, temperatures will be near seasonable levels and the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

More sunshine on Thursday, and it should be dry with hot temperatures with readings rising to near or above 90 degrees.

Quite warm on Friday, but a back door cold front will cross the area at night, preceded and accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the holiday weekend should be mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures and moderate humdity.

With more clouds, temperatures will be slightly lower than the last couple of days and the humidity will be moderate with dew points mainly in the low-mid 60s.

High pressure will then build into the area on Thursday providing us with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures.

The holiday weekend looks to be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures, however there will be a low chance of showers on Friday as a back door cold front moves through. On Independence Day there will be another chance of an afternoon and evening shower or thunderstorm.
