The front that caused clouds and showers yesterday and cooler temperatures will move to our north and a southwest flow of very hot and humid air will move into our area. The clouds will burn off and we will have a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching into the 90s along with dew points in the 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to near 105 today.

Excessive heat and humidity will continue over the weekend with highs both days near 100 degrees and with dew points in the upper 70s will cause heat indexes to rise past 115 degrees. Most of the time will remain dry but a cold front may cause some showers and thunderstorms late Sunday.

The front will move slowly to our south and Monday we will have a good chance of showers, it will still be humid but with clouds the temperatures will be much lower.

High pressure will then build into our area giving us more seasonable temperatures along with much lower humidity Tuesday through at least Thursday.

The remains of Tropical Cyclone Barry will move offshore today as a weak cold front approaches from the north which will cause cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely, temperatures with the clouds and precipitation will be only in the 80s, but the humidity will remain high with dew points in the 70s.

Excessive heat is likely Friday through the weekend with highs well up into the 90s and may hit 100 on Saturday, and with the humidity will cause the heat index to rise to 115. Mainly dry Friday and Saturday but a chance of thunderstorms Sunday night as a cold front approaches the area.

The front will slowly move to our south early next week with a chance of showers Monday. Highs will be in the 80s, the humidity will still be high on Monday but will lower Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today will be a hot and humid day with temperatures well up into the 90s along with high humidity as dew points will be in the low 70s. There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early this evening with the heaviest rain mainly between 10 pm. tonight and 2 a.m. tomorrow morning. A flash flood watch has been posted. Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches with higher amounts possible.

Tomorrow will be a cloudy day but quite humid with showers likely as the remains of what was Tropical Cyclone Barry moves offshore.

Dry, very hot and humid weather is expected Friday through Sunday with Saturday expected to be the hottest day with highs near 100 and with dew points in the mid 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to near 115.

A cold front may cause some showers on Monday followed by cooler and drier weather on Tuesday. More seasonable weather with most highs in the 80s through the end of next week.

High pressure will be moving offshore as a weak warm front passes through the area. Today we should see mostly sunny skies with quite warm to hot temperatures the humidity will be increasing with dew points rising to 70 by this evening.

The remains of Tropical Storm Barry will move into our area on Wednesday which will likely cause showers and thunderstorms from late Wednesday afternoon through Thursday and with the tropical air some of the rain will be heavy at times. Temperatures will be hot on Wednesday but cooler on Thursday due to more clouds and precipitation, however the humidity will be quite high with dew points in the oppressive 70s.

Excessive heat and humidity Friday through Sunday with temperatures well up into the 90s each day with a 100 reading possible on Saturday. The humidity will also continued to be very high with dew points in the 70s which will cause the heat index to rise to near 115 degrees.

A cold front will approach the are early next week which should end the heatwave by Tuesday.

High pressure over the area will give us a very comfortable summer day today with warm temperatures and comfortable humidity along with plenty of sunshine.

Tuesday will be a warmer day with a slow increase in humidity, skies will be mostly fair.

Humid with a chance of showers late Wednesday into Thursday as the remains of Tropical Storm Barry moves into the area.

The hottest weather of the summer so far is expected Friday through the weekend, high temperatures may approach 100 degrees both Friday and Saturday and with dew points in the 70s will bring heat indexes to near 110. Sunday may be slightly cooler and less humid but high should still be well up into the 90s.
