Skies are clear and it is cold with temperatures ranging from around 16 in Clifton down to 9 degrees at High Point, these readings are the coldest since the day after Thanksgiving when the temperature in Clifton dropped to 11 degrees. Winds are light.

High pressure will give us a partly sunny day today and it will again be cold but with much less wind than the last three days.

The low pressure that is giving heavy snow now across the central part of the country will slip south of us tonight and tomorrow and will only give us a slight chance of flurries.

We should see clearing on Sunday with cold temperatures and light winds.

Mainly dry weather most of next week with near seasonable temperatures.

A strong frontal system will give us a chance of snow or rain on Friday.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are cold with readings ranging from the low 20s in Clifton down to the middle teens further inland, winds are brisk out of the north.

Today will be a mostly sunny day but it will be chilly with highs only reaching the freezing mark, winds will slowly diminish later today and tonight.

We should see an increase in clouds on Saturday and it will continue to be cold. The low pressure that we have been tracking now looks to stay mainly well to our south only giving us some light snow or flurries from late Saturday night ending before dawn on Sunday, little or no accumulation is expected.

Sunday now looks to be a dry day with seasonably cold temperatures.

Dry weather is expected to continue much of next week, temperatures will be a little below normal on Monday, near normal on Tuesday, slightly above normal on Wednesday then below normal again on Thursday. Normal highs for this period is 35 degrees while the normal low in near 20.

Today will be a partly sunny day ; it still will be breezy and chilly with highs only in the middle 30s and with the wind it will feel much colder.

Dry weather will continue Friday into the day on Saturday with slowly diminishing winds.

A good chance of at least some light snow Saturday night into Sunday as a low pressure moves offshore to our south. At the present time accumulations is expected to be one to two inches.

Dry and seasonably cold weather is expected for the first half of next week.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to some upper 30s further inland, winds are gusty out of the west.

Sunshine returns today but it will be windy with some gusts to 35 mph as a storm moves to the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure builds into the area. Temperatures will start off mild in the mid 40s but drop to the 30s by sunset.

Dry weather will continue Thursday through Saturday along with colder temperatures, it will continue to be windy on Thursday but diminsh at night.

There is potential for some snow Saturday night into Sunday, at this time it appears that the system will be weak as it moves offshore to our south but that could change so keep tuned.

Fair weather with seasonably cold temperatures is expected early next week.

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there is a mixture of light drizzle and snow over parts of the area, temperatures range from the low 30s in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland. Winds are light.

A weak disturbance will cause some drizzle today and showers tonight,temperatures will be milder with highs in the 40s and remain in the 40s tonight.

A cold front will cross the area early Wednesday morning bringing clearing but windy conditions with temperatures falling to the 30s by sunset.

Dry and chilly weather Thursday through Saturday.

Possibly some snow on Sunday.
