Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are quite cool ranging from the upper 20s in the Clifton area falling to the upper teens further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Clouds will increase quickly this morning and become overcast as high pressure moves off the coast and a low pressure system approaches from the west.  A southerly flow will bring milder temperatures.  Showers should arrive by late this afternoon and continue into Sunday morning.  Temperatures will be steady tonight and even rise a few degrees.

The strong cold front associated with this system will move through the area Sunday morning, winds behind the front will gust to over 40 mph.  Temperatures will start off in the 50s tomorrow morning but drop to the 40s by sunset.

Monday should be a cool and breezy and dry day.

It should be dry most of next week, temperatures will be mild on Tuesday and then cooler for the rest of the week.

TONIGHT – Showers and becoming windy, temperatures steady in the low 50s.

SUNDAY – NOV 19 – Showers mainly before 7 a.m, windy, temperatures in the mid 50s in the morning dropping to the mid 40s by sunset.

TUESDAY – NOV 21 – Sunny and milder, high in the upper 50s.

MARINE FORECAST:  A gale warning is posted effective from 1 p.m this afternoon valid through 5 a.m. Monday morning.  Today – South-southwest wind to 35 knots, seas 4-7 feet building to 7-10 feet tonight.

OUTLOOK – Small craft conditions Monday and Tuesday; no advisories expected on Wednesday.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in the Clifton area down to the low 30s further inland, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

Today will be a mostly sunny and a breezy day with cooler temperatures as high pressure builds into the area from the midwest.   Winds will diminsh tonight.

A strong frontal system will likely give us rain from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning, winds will become strong Saturday night into Sunday, temperatures will be seasonably mild.

Dry weather most of next week, Monday will be cool with gusty winds, Tuesday should be the mildest day of the week but colder air will be in the area from late Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day.

THURSDAY  NOVEMBER 16, 2017  5:50 A.M.

We have showers falling in many parts of the area early on this Thursday morning, temperatures are milder than the last few mornings ranging from the upper 40s in the Clifton area down to the low 40s further inland, winds are light out of the south.

Showers should end by mid morning followed by clearing skies, temperatures will be milder, it will become breezy as a cold front crosses the area.

Friday will be a dry and seasonably cool day.

Rain is likely Saturday night into Sunday morning as a frontal system crosses the area.

Clearing during the day on Sunday but it will be windy and cooler.

Mainly dry through the midweek period, temperatures will be below normal on Monday and slightly above normal on Tuesday and be slightly below normal on Wednesday.  The average high for this time of year is around 50 degrees.

Skies are partly cloudy and once again it is cool with readings ranging from the mid 30s in the Clifton area down to the low 20s further inland, winds are light out of the north.

High pressure will be in control of our weather today giving us a partly sunny day, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday.

A warm front will cross the area tonight with showers likely after midnight and extending into tomorrow morning, it will not be as cool tonight.  A cold front will cross the area Thursday afternoon with winds becoming gusty.

High pressure will give us a dry and seasonably cool day on Friday with less wind.

A stronger low pressure system will likely give us rain from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning followed by clearing and colder weather for Sunday afternoon through Monday.

We have partly cloudy skies early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are cool ranging from the low 30s in the Clifton area down to the low 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today and tomorrow we should have mainly mostly sunny skies with high temperatures similar to yesterday mainly in the upper 40s which is slightly below normal.

A weak trough may cause some showers late Wednesday night.

High pressure will give us dry and seasonably cool conditions Thursday and Friday.

A stronger low pressure will likely give us rain on Saturday.

Windy and cooler weather is expected Sunday into early next week but we should be dry.
