One more warm day today then much cooler air for the weekend!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the upper 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm and the humidity is low.

High pressure will be moving off the coast as a cold front approaches from the north, a warm southwest flow will give us quite warm temperatures with highs well up into the 80s and some spots a 90 degree reading is possible.  The front will cross the area tonight with only a chance of a brief shower.

Much cooler weather for the weekend but it should be dry, early morning temperatures Sunday and Monday mornings will be down into the 40s with some 30s possible further inland, daytime highs will be around 70.

Somewhat milder Tuesday through Thursday and with a frontal system approaching we may see some showers.

Warm again today and on Friday as autumn begins at 10:21 a.m. this morning! Much cooler over the weekend.


Skies are mostly fair early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s here in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low.

Today we will see plenty of sunshine as high pressure controls our weather, temperatures will be warm with highs in the 80s but the humidity will remain on the low side.

We should see another warm day on Friday as the high pressure moves offshore.  A cold front will cross the area at night with only a low chance of a shower.

Much cooler weather for the weekend along with dry conditions.  Early morning lows on Sunday and Monday will be in the 40s with some 30s possible further inland, daytime highs will struggle to reach the 70 degree mark.

A little milder Tuesday and Wednesday and we should remain dry.  No significant rain is in the forecast for the next several days.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm and it is still a little muggy.

High pressure will build into the area today giving us mostly sunny skies with warm temperatures but it will be less humid.

Plenty of sunshine with warm temperatures Thursday and Friday.

A cold front will come through mainly dry on Friday night, this front will be followed by much cooler air for the weekend but both days will continue to have mostly sunny skies.

Dry weather will continue into early next week, Monday will be cool with slowly moderating temperatures on Tuesday.

Present indications are that we may see some rain by the middle of next week.

Warm and dry weather today through Friday! Cooler weather over the weekend!


We have cloudy skies early on this Tuesday morning and there is some patchy fog in some areas, temperatures range from the upper 60s here in Clifton to the low 60s inland, winds are mainly calm.  Yesterday I recorded .74 inches of rainfall.

Today we should see a return of some sunshine and warmer temperatures as the frontal system that caused the rain yesterday moves further offshore and high pressure builds in from the west, it will still be a little humid with highs reaching the 80s which is about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Mostly sunny days Wednesday through Friday, it will be continued to be warm but it will be less humid than today.

A cold front will cross the area on Saturday with only a slight chance of a shower, the front will be followed by high pressure that should give us the coolest readings of the season so far Sunday and Monday but it will remain dry.

Humid with well needed rain today! Mainly dry and unseasonably warm weather for the rest of the work week!


It is cloudy and humid early on this Monday morning and rain is finally moving into the area from the west, temperatures range from the low 70s here in Clifton to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A slow moving front will be moving through the area today producing showers with possible thunderstorms, some of the rain will be heavy at times with rainfall amounts around an inch with some higher totals possible.  Rain will taper off to scattered showers tonight.  It will be humid with dew points around 70.

High pressure will build into the area on Tuesday and be with us through Friday giving us plenty of sunshine each day with temperatures well above normal for this time of year.

A weak cold front may touch off a light shower Saturday morning.

Sunday should be dry with cooler temperatures with highs only reaching the low 70s, however these readings are near normal for the end of September.
