Beautiful late spring weather today through at least Wednesday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and it is much cooler than this time yesterday with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s here in Clifton to around 50 further inland.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine, winds will be a little gusty this morning but will slowly diminsh this afternoon, highs should be around normal for this time of year and the humidity will be low.

Nice late spring weather will continue Tuesday and Wednesday with plenty of sunshine both days with lighter winds and continued low humidity.

A frontal system to our south will give us more clouds on Thursday with a chance of showers at night.

High pressure is expected to build back into the area Friday through the weekend but a cut off low pressure will be just offshore, at this time we will forecast dry weather but the confidence of this is on the low side.

Mostly sunny today and becoming windy and much less humid! Nice late spring weather much of this week!


It is mostly fair early on this Sunday morning and it is quite warm with temperatures ranging from the mid 70s here in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light.

A cold front will be crossing the area this morning but very little clouds and no rain accompanying the front but this front will be followed by a strong northwest flow of much drier air, dew points that are in the 60s this morning will drop to the comfortable 40s this afternoon, winds will gust above 30 mph at times.   Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures falling into the 50s.

A very nice stretch of late spring weather is anticipated for this week as high pressure builds into the area, we should see mainly mostly sunny days with comfortable temperatures and humidities.

Becoming warmer and much more humid today with scattered strong thunderstorms possible! Less humid and windy on Sunday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and it is quite cool once again with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s here in Clifton to some low 40s in the colder inland valleys, winds are nearly calm.

A warm front will move through the area early this afternoon accompanied by a widely scattered showers and followed by warmer and much more humid air, dew points that are in the 40s this morning will rise into the 60s by this afternoon.  In the warm air scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop some of these storms may be quite strong with some gusty winds and hail, the chance of storms over a particular area is less than 50% so I would not cancel any outdoor plans but keep an eye to the sky this afternoon and evening.

A cold front will cross the area early on Sunday morning followed by much less humid air, it will become windy also with possible gusts over 30 mph.

High pressure will be in control of the weather much of this upcoming week with plenty of sunshine each day along with near seasonable temperatures.

Very nice day today with lighter winds and milder temperatures! More humid with a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening! Dry and windy on Sunday!


Skies are clear early on this Friday morning and it is cool once again with temperatures ranging from around 50 here in Clifton to as low as 40 in the colder inland areas, winds are light.

Today high pressure will be over the area producing plenty of sunshine, temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than on Thursday and with less wind it will be a nice late spring day.

Saturday’s weather is a bit unsettled as a warm front will be approaching the area followed by a cold front moving through Saturday night, it will be warmer and more humid and there is a 40 to 50 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, some of these storms may be quite strong with gusty winds and small hail.  These storms if they occur will be quick movers so the day will not be a complete washout.

Sunday will be less humid and warm with again plenty of sunshine but it will become windy.

At this time next week looks to be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures.

Plenty of sunshine today and on Friday with seasonably cool temperatures! Low chance of thunderstorms Saturday evening!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are quite cool with readings ranging from around 50 here in Clifton to the low 40s in some of the colder inland areas, winds are light and the humidity is low.    Yesterday I recorded .34 inches of rain with afternoon temperatures falling into the chilly low 50s.

High pressure building into the area will give us plenty of sunshine today but there will still be a brisk wind, temperatures with the strong June sunshine should rise into the mid 70s.

Sunny conditions on Friday with less wind and temperature a couple of degrees higher than today.

The weekend looks mainly dry but a cold front may touch off some showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening.   Sunday should be mostly sunny and seasonably warm.

Dry weather is expected Monday through Wednesday, Monday may be a bit breezy otherwise rather nice late spring condition should prevail.
