Not as cold today after some morning flurries! Mild on Friday! Rain late Friday night into Saturday morning!


We have a some light flurries falling early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 20s here in Clifton to the mid teens further inland, winds are light.

A weak disturbance is now causing some light snow showers over the area that may the Clifton area a dusting of snow this morning and up to an inch across inland areas causing some slippery spots on some roadways.  We should see some sunshine by this afternoon and high temperatures will be around 5 degrees higher than on Wednesday.

During the day Friday we should have partly sunny skies but with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon, it will be mild with highs well up into the 40s.

A low pressure system will give us rain from Friday night into Saturday morning followed by clearing in the afternoon, temperatures will still be above normal.

A cold front will cross the area late on Sunday which may be accompanied by some flurries, temperatures will be near normal.

Mainly cold and dry most of next week with Monday and Tuesday being quite cold and windy.

Skies are mostly clear early this Wednesday morning, temperatures are rather uniform across the area ranging from around 20 degrees in Clifton to some mid teens further inland, winds are gusting to above 30 mph at times bringing wind chills down to the single digits.

Today will be a mostly sunny day but will be windy and quite cold with highs struggling to reach the 30 degree mark and with the winds it will feel much colder, the winds will diminish somewhat by this afternoon.

Not as cold or windy on Thursday with highs in the 30s.  Friday will be dry and milder with highs reaching well up into the 40s.

A coastal low pressure storm will give us mainly just rain and wind on Saturday that may begin as some frozen precipitation well inland.

Dry with seasonable temperatures on Sunday.

Below normal temperatures early next week but we should stay dry.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures have dropped to the upper teens here in Clifton ranging down to 10 degrees in our colder suburbs, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will see an increase of clouds as a weak disturbance moves in from the mid-west, light precipitation in the form of rain and snow showers will likely develop this afternoon changing to snow showers later in the day and continuing in the evening,  a coating of snow is possible especially across inland areas where up to an inch will fall, high temperatures should reach around 40 degrees.  Much colder and windy tonight.

Mainly dry, windy and cold on Wednesday, we should see mostly sunny skies but there may be some lingering flurries in the morning.

Dry weather will continue Thursday into the day on Friday with moderating temperatures.

A stronger low pressure system is expected to give us more significant precipitation Friday night into Saturday, the precipitation may start off as a mixture of rain, snow and freezing rain changing to all rain during the day on Saturday and then possibly changing back to snow before ending on Saturday evening.

Dry weather on Sunday and Monday with colder temperatures.

Much colder today and windy! Snow showers may whiten the ground Tuesday afternoon and evening!


Skies are mostly clear early this Monday morning and temperatures have fallen to the upper 20s here in Clifton to the low 20s in the colder inland areas, a brisk wind gusting above 20 mph is making it feel much colder.

Yesterday we had record high temperatures in the area along with 1.84″ of rainfall and we even had some hail in the afternoon with a brief heavy shower followed by a brilliant double rainbow.

Today will be much colder with readings only rising a couple of degrees from this morning’s lows and with gusty winds it will feel much colder.

On Tuesday a cold front will be crossing the area preceded by some snow showers in the afternoon and evening that may give us a light coating of snow in our area and up to 1-2 inches well inland.

Cold and dry Wednesday and Thursday with moderating temperatures expected on Friday.

The weekend weather will be unsettled as a couple of low pressure areas will be affecting our area giving us a chance of rain or snow.

Windswept rain today with record high temperatures likely! Much colder on Monday! Chance of snow showers Tuesday night!


We have moderate to heavy rain falling early this Sunday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from the mid 40s here in Clifton some upper  30s inland, winds are gusting from the east up to 25 mph.

Today will continue to have rain heaviest this morning, east winds will become southerly later today as a warm front moves through the area, temperatures should rise to 60 degrees or higher which would be a record for the date.  There is a slight chance of some thunder this morning, expect around an inch or two of rainfall.  A cold front will cross the area this afternoon bringing clearing and much cooler temperatures.

Monday will be a mostly sunny but breezy day with highs remaining in the 30s.

Slightly milder on Tuesday but another cold front is expected to produce some snow showers at night.

Dry weather the rest of the week, Wednesday will be windy, temperatures will be below normal Wednesday and Thursday rising to near normal on Friday.

A coastal storm is possible next weekend, too early for any details on how or if it will affect our area.
