Dry weekend with slowly moderating temperatures!


Temperatures in the Clifton area have fallen below freezing for the first time this season as we are now at 30 degrees with the 20s further inland, winds are light and we have mostly sunny skies.

Today will feature mostly sunny skies this morning with increasing clouds this afternoon, temperatures will recover from this morning’s chill and winds will be much lower than on Friday.

After early cloudiness on Sunday it will become mostly sunny and milder.

Mild for the first part of next week with dry conditions Monday and Tuesday and a chance of showers on Wednesday as a cold front moves through the area.

Much colder Thursday and Friday.  A storm is forecast to develop off the southeast coast and may give us some precipitation Friday night into Saturday morning and that precipitation if it occurs may be in the form of “snow”!

Windy and cool Friday! Seasonably cool weekend!


We have partly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures are mainly in the low 40s, winds have picked up and are gusting to 20 mph from the northwest.

Today will be a windy day with gusts in the 25-30 mph range, there will be a mix of sun and clouds with seasonably cool temperatures.

Winds will diminish tonight and temperatures will fall to the 30s.

Plenty of sunshine for the weekend, temperatures will continue to be cool but winds will be light so it should be a rather nice November weekend.

Temperatures will moderate to near normal on Monday and Tuesday with plenty of sunshine both days.

A cold front will cross the area late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning giving us a chance of a shower.

Much cooler weather for the end of the week into the weekend and there are indications that a storm system off the coast may give us some precipitation late Friday into next weekend.  Too early to tell if the precipitation if it does occur will be a cold rain or even snow so stay tuned.

Rainy Thursday! Clearing and windy on Friday! Mainly dry and cool weekend!


Rain has moved into the area early this morning and temperatures are in the upper 40s, winds are light.

Today will be a rainy day with near seasonable temperatures, the rain should taper off to occasional showers by this evening and there may be a rumble of thunder, total rainfall should be around 1/2 an inch.

Friday will be a mostly cloudy day and it will be windy but the winds should not be as strong as we had this past weekend, temperatures will be cool.

Continued cool on the weekend we should stay mainly dry but there is a slight chance of a shower Saturday night.

Dry weather will continue early next week with a slight warming trend with Tuesday being the warmest day.

A cold front will come through the area on Tuesday night followed by much cooler weather for the end of next week, although the temperatures will be below normal we should not have any record breaking cold.

We have mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning and temperatures are similar to yesterday morning’s readings ranging from the mild low 50s in the Clifton area to the 40s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be another mild day with a mix or sun and clouds with highs in the 60s.

A storm system will cause rain beginning before daybreak tomorrow morning and ending before daybreak on Friday with the heaviest falling tomorrow afternoon and evening, expect just under an inch of rainfall.

Clearing, breezy and cooler on Friday.

The weekend appears will be mainly dry with seasonably cool temperatures.

Dry weather will continue early next week with seasonable temperatures continuing.

At daybreak this morning skies are mostly cloudy and temperatures are much milder than the last few mornings ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area to the upper 40s further inland, winds for a change are light.

After early morning cloudiness it will becoming sunny and mild today for voting with temperatures reaching the upper 60s.

Another dry and mild day is in store for the area on Wednesday.

Another storm system will give us rain from early Thursday into Friday morning, unlike our last storm this time we will have milder temperatures and less wind but with heavier rainfall amounts as 1-2 inches could fall.

Clearing and cooler weather on Friday.

This weekend will be cool and mainly dry but there is a low chance of a shower on Sunday.

Cool and dry weather is expected to start next week.
