Warm weather continues through Friday!

Just like yesterday we have low clouds and fog that will burn off later this morning and highs will be similar to yesterday in the low-mid 70s.

Tomorrow there will be some low clouds and fog but it should burn off quicker and as a result highs will rise to the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

Friday a weak cold front will move to our south but it still will be unseasonably warm with readings again reaching the 70s..

The weekend will not be as warm with highs in the 50s to the low 60s and rain is likely from late Saturday into Sunday…

Monday and Tuesday will have clearing with highs near 60 degrees..

Welcome Spring!

Well astronomical spring started this morning, thank goodness winter is over! Oh yeah, what winter?

Today clouds and fog are occurring but they will burn off around noon, a bit more of a southeast wind will keep highs from reaching the very warm levels of yesterday, reaching just above 70 degrees.

Wednesday we will again start out with low clouds but they should burn off quicker and highs will be a couple of degrees warmer into the low 70s.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with highs around 80 degrees.

Friday a bit cooler with highs in the low 70s, still way above the normal high which is in the low 50s.

The weekend looks cooler still with a chance of rain from late Saturday into Sunday, highs around 60.

Early next week looks dry with highs in the 60s but as the week progresses we should see temperatures cool off to near normal as we end March and start April and that will feel downright chilly….

Remarkably warm and dry week ahead!

Now the calendar says March but this week the weather will be more like May as the remarkably warm month continues.. Just think the normal high temperature for this time of year is in the low 50s.

Today will feature mostly sunny skies with highs mainly in the mid 70s, cooler along the ocean..

Tuesday there will be a weak back door cold front moving in and it will be just slightly cooler with highs in the upper 60s again cooler along the coast.

Back up into the 70s on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies..

Thursday should be the warmest day of the week as winds will be more westerly, highs may exceed 80 degrees even along the coast.

Friday a cold front will come through with a slight chance of showers, highs “only” near 70 degrees..

Cooler on the weekend with showers possible Sunday., highs still above normal in the 60s..

I should have taken this week off on vacation…

And as warm it has been around here the upper midwest even as more remarkable warmth.. Chicago went above 80 degrees again. The ice box city of International Falls Minnesota it hit 77 degrees yesterday, 4 degrees higher than any March temperature and broke their record for the day by more than 20 degrees.

Early low clouds burning off later this morning!

The light winds off the ocean are bringing in the early morning low clouds once again, these clouds will thin out and the sun will appear, mild temps with highs near 70 but cooler closer to the water..

During this upcoming week it will be very mild but how mild will depend on the wind direction from the strong high pressure off the coast, if the winds are more from the Southeast the highs will be in the 60s but if the winds turn to a more SW direction it will warm up nicely with highs well up into the 70s. Seems like the best chance of the warmer reading are from Wednesday to Friday.

Most of the week will be dry but there is a low chance of showers Monday night into Tuesday morning and again Friday into Saturday..

The upper Midwest is having a remarkable early heat wave, Chicago has been over 80 degrees for three straight days, that has never happened before there in March, and that warmth will continue there this week.. Also this morning some areas in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan already have broken their record highs for the date.

Now if only the winds come from the west and we could join the fun of 80 degree weather.

Cloudy day with drizzle and showers, the sun will come out tomorrow!

The onshore flow will keep the marine air over the area today with drizzle this morning and occasional showers this afternoon, highs in the 50s which seem cool after this past week’s warmth but are actually about five degrees above normal for this time of year..

The weekend looks very pleasant for Mid-March with highs both days in the 60s..

Next week a gradual warm up will occur and it will be dry, highs on Monday in the upper 60s and should warm through the 70s during the rest of the week, quite an amazing stretch of nice weather for this time of year or any time of year for that matter.

Beware the Ides of March!

And beware of the back door cold front that came through early this morning, although it won’t bring us any rain the clouds and winds off the cold ocean will keep temps much lower than the last few days, 40s along the coast while away from the coast across Eastern Pa. highs will be near 70.

Friday we will have the clouds again with showers from late tonight until tomorrow evening, with winds off the ocean it will be cool again with highs in the upper 50s, again cooler coast and warmer inland..

St. Patrick’s Day skies will clear and highs will be in the 60s.

Same for Sunday mostly fair with highs in the 60s.

Next week still looks warm and dry with most highs in the warm 70s..

Another May type day today!!

After hitting 76 degrees yesterday today will be just slightly cooler with plenty of sunshine highs will be around 70 degrees.

Tomorrow will be cooler as winds come from off the ocean so highs will be around 60 degrees still well above normal for March..

Late Thursday night into Friday, showers are likely with highs only in the 50s..

Now it appears that the rain will move out providing us with a nice St. Patricks day with highs in the 60s.

Nice weather will continue into Sunday with highs again in the mild 60s..

And it still looks like very warm weather will be felt next week with highs mostly in the 70s, still have to watch for a back door cold front that if it moves through could put a dent into the warm temps especially along the coast.

Another warm day today!

After yesterday’s record breaking temperatures in the low 70s today will be a repeat of the warm weather.  After early morning clouds and showers it will be partly cloudy with a high in the low-mid 70s..  There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm later this afternoon and evening as a weak cold front moves through..

Note: March 13th we have had very variable weather ranging from an incredibly warm 86 in 1990 to a blizzard in 1993, today will be warm but no records will fall.

Wednesday still a nice and unseasonably mild day with highs in the upper 60s.

Starting Thursday and Friday winds will be coming off the cold ocean so temps will be only in the 50s with a chance of light rain Friday into Saturday morning.

St Patrick’s Day looks like there will be clearing and milder as winds less off the ocean, highs in the low 60s.

Sunday looks nice to with above normal temperatures continuing, highs in the 60s.

Still looks like much above temperatures will be felt next week with some highs on a couple of those days approaching 80 degrees..

Nice and warm day today!

Today we will have a wonderful spring type day with highs near 70 degrees. However it may not be wonderful for allergy sufferers since tree pollen will be very high today!

Clouding up later today with showers likely overnight ending before dawn tomorrow then the sun will reappear tomorrow with temps reaching the lower 70s. Another chance of a shower later in the day or evening as a cold front moves through.

Wednesday and Thursday will be dry and slightly cooler with highs in the 60s, still well above normal for mid March.

Now Friday through Sunday are unsettled and it may not be as warm as once thought as winds may be from off the ocean where water temperatures are still in the 40s, so we may be quite a bit cooler especially along the coast with highs not getting out of the 50s. There is also a chance of light rain Friday into Saturday.

Next week it still could get extremely warm as long as winds switch around to the west and not off the cool ocean, more details as the week goes on but we may still have a couple of days of 80 degree weather…
