And the warmup begins!


The upcoming several days will be more typical of April and May.

Today will be mostly sunny and a little breezy with highs near 60 degrees

Monday it will be even warmer with highs in the upper 60s to close to 70 degrees

Tuesday a slight chance of a morning shower then clearing and highs again near 70.

Wednesday through Friday look very pleasant with highs still well above normal in the mid to upper 60s.

Weekend still mild with maybe a shower on St. Patrick’s Day.

After that it may get real toasty around here and if all goes right we could see temps near 80 degrees early next week..

Only one cold day today then warmer!


It may seem cold today after this very warm winter but it is only slightly below normal with highs in the 40s, bit breezy today but with plenty of sunshine.

Tomorrow starts the warm up that will last for the foreseeable future, highs tomorrow will reach 60 degrees.

Even warmer Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, there may be a light shower on Tuesday.

Wednesday through Friday mainly dry with highs in the 60s.

Weekend into next week still looks unseasonably warm as we may have end up having one of the warmest March’s on record….

Cooler couple of days then warmer once again.


A cold front came through around 1:30AM with some light showers but brought much cooler air with temperatures that were in the 60s around midnight dropped quickly into the 40s. This morning most readings were around 40 degrees.

Today we will have partly sunny skies with a high near 50 degrees, some increasing cloudiness later this afternoon with just a small chance of a shower or snow flurry inland. It will still be breezy but not as windy as yesterday.

Tonight will be chilly in the upper 20s

Saturday will be the coolest day with highs in the mid 40s which is only slightly below normal for this time of year.

Then has been the case most of this winter it will get warm again on Sunday with highs above 60 degrees.

All indications are that next week and into the following week will be warm with most highs in the 60s with some 70s, more like late April weather than Mid March. May have to get the lawn mower out a lot earlier this year and for the most part it will be dry. Enjoy!!!

Warm and windy day!


Today we will have readings above 70 degrees but it will be windy this afternoon with some wind gusts approaching 40MPH..

Tonight a cold front will move through after midnight with showers, evening temperatures will not drop much and stay in the 60s.. However after the front it will be noticeably cooler temps falling to the 40s and not rising too much tomorrow with clearing skies.

Saturday will be the coolest day for the next several days as highs will be in the 40s.. Mostly Fair conditions will prevail..

Sunday the start of another warm-up, dry with highs in the 50s..

Next week the very mild weather will cover the area with most highs in the 60s, although there may be showers around especially on Monday and Tuesday..

The long long range still indicates much above normal temperatures will continue through March 22nd….

Spring type weather again!


After a couple of days of chilly weather where temperatures were actually below normal (only three below normal days since Jan 22nd) readings will rise to around 60 degrees.

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with highs approaching a May like 70 degrees.

Thursday night into Friday morning there is a 50% chance of showers, highs Friday will be in the cooler 50s..

Saturday will be the only day that it will be cool with highs in the 40s..

Sunday will be milder again with highs in the 50s.

Much above normal temperatures look likely in the long range between March 11-21st.

Chilly day today but the warmup will start tomorrow!


Today will be cooler than normal with highs in the low-mid40s but with plenty of sun it will feel pleasant. Notice how warm the sun is getting this time of year even with the cool air.

Tomorrow the warm up will start with again mostly sunny skies temps will hit around 60 degrees.

Even warmer on Thursday with highs well up into the 60s and with any luck it may top out at 70 degrees.

Cold front comes through Friday morning with showers from late Thursday night into Friday morning, highs mostly in the 50s.

The weekend looks dry at this point and after a cool Saturday with temps in the upper 40s, Sunday will see readings rise once again into the 50s..

And the long long range into next week at this point lshows well above normal temperature readings continuing as the non-winter of 2011-2012 comes to a close.

Cool front will swing through Thursday night into Friday morning with a chance of showers then clearing, highs on Friday will be in the mid 50s.

The weekend looks nice with highs on Saturday near 50 degrees and into the 50s on Sunday..

Monday and Tuesday we will have below normal temps for a change, highs in the low 40s with a low Tuesday morning around 20 degrees, however it will be mostly fair..

Nice spring type weather for Wednesday through Friday with highs Wednesday in the 50s warming into the 60s on Thursday and Friday with plenty of sunshine…

Foggy with showers this morning but the sun will finally come out this afternoon!


The same system that caused the deadly tornadoes in the lower Midwest and South will move offshore this afternoon. Some dense fog along with showers this morning will give way to partly sunny and breezy conditions with mild readings in the upper 50s.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon (flurries north) highs in the upper 40s.

Dry period almost the rest of next week with a substantial swing in temperatures.
Monday and Tuesday will be quite chilly with highs just a bit above 40 degrees in fact Tuesday’s morning low may drop down into the teens…

Significant warming trend for the mid and later part of next week with highs in the 50s and 60s, with the only chance of showers will hold off till later on Friday…

We should some breaks in the clouds today and it will be cool with highs in the 40s.
Tonight a warm front will approach the area with rain by evening tonight, temperatures will be steady but as the warm front moves through it will warm up into the 50s by morning.

Lingering showers ending for the most part by noon on Saturday it will be mild with highs near 60 early but as a cold front moves to our east it will cool off later in the day.

Sunday will be partly sunny with only a small chance of a shower, high in the upper 40s

Monday and Tuesday will be chilly but mostly fair with highs in the low 40s, nights will be chilly with lows in the 20s.

Warming trend still on tap for the rest of next week with highs at least in the 50s.
