Another very hot couple days coming up but relief is on the way!


This morning had temperatures that bottomed out around 70 degrees, the humidity is not all that bad with dew points in the low 60s. It will become very hot today and again on Wednesday with increasing humidity. Strong to severe thunderstorms likely tomorrow afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches. Cooler and drier air will dominate the weather from Thursday into the weekend. Next week looks quite warm but at this time we should not have the intense heat that we will experience these next two days..

Forecast: Today, mostly sunny and hot, high in the upper 90s

Tonight, mostly clear and quite warm, low only dropping to the mid-upper 70s.

Wednesday, quite hot and more humid, partly sunny with thunderstorms developing some of these storms may be strong to severe, high in the mid 90s.

Thursday, chance of a morning shower then clearing, not as hot and less humid, high in the upper 80s.

Friday, partly sunny, highs in the low 80s.

Saturday and Sunday, mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s.

Monday, mostly sunny, highs approaching 90 degrees.

Marine Forecast: Today, Winds becoming southwest around 10 knots, seas 2-3 feet.
Outlook, mainly sub-advisory level conditions but we may approach those levels with the cold front Wednesday into Thursday morning along with a chance of strong thunderstorms.
