Hot and humid the next few days; Rain chances increase later this week into the weekend!


Overnight temperatures only dropped to the low 70s and after some clouds at daybreak it will become mostly sunny, hot and quite humid with highs reaching the lower 90s, only a very slight chance of an afternoon and evening thunderstorm.
Hot and humid weather continues Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures in the low 90s and there could be a scattered thunderstorm in some spots.
A slow moving cold front approaching our area will increase the chances of showers and thunderstorms Thursday through the weekend and with more cloudiness temperatures will not be as hot but it will remain quite muggy.

The forecast: Today – Mostly sunny, hot and humid, highs in the low 90s.
Tonight – Partly cloudy, muggy, low around 70.
Tuesday – Mostly sunny with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 90s.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 90s.
Thursday – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.
Friday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid-upper 80s.
Saturday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.
Sunday – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

Marine Forecast: Today – West-southwest wind to 12 knots, seas up to 3 feet.
Outlook – Sub-small craft advisory conditions much of the upcoming week but advisories may be needed on Friday!
