Hot weather to continue today and Wednesday!


Our heat wave will continue at least the next couple of days with temperatures reaching the low 90s, there will be a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms but this activity will be scattered but they could be accompanied by heavy rain and gusty winds.
Chances of more widespread shower and thunderstorm activity Thursday through the weekend, with more clouds temperatures will be lower but the humidity will remain on the high side.
Looking at the long range models it appears now that due to slow movement of the weather systems much of next week could be quite wet.

The forecast: Today – Mostly sunny, chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 90s.
Tonight – Mostly cloudy with chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9PM, low around 70.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 90s.
Thursday – Partly sunny with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the upper 80s.
Friday – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the mid 80s.
Saturday – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the mid 80s.
Sunday – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the low 80s.
Monday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

Marine forecast: – Today – Southwest wind to 11 knots, seas around 2 feet. Water temps in the upper 60s.
Outlook – Mainly sub-advisory level conditions through the week.
