Showers will end by early this afternoon followed by cooler and drier air tonight and Sunday!


Showers have moved into the area early this morning, temperatures are mild ranging from 60 degrees in the Clifton area to the upper 50s inland, winds are from the southeast.

A frontal system will move through the area today with showers ending early this afternoon, expect about 1/2 inch of well needed rainfall.  Temperatures will be mild with highs reaching the 70s later this afternoon.  Clearing skies by late this afternoon.

Much cooler tonight with temperatures dropping to the mid 40s in the Clifton area to the 30s further inland.

Sunday will be a sunny and rather cool day with most highs only reaching the low 60s.

Chilly on Sunday night with some frost possible well inland..

Milder during the day on Monday with plenty of sunshine.

A weaker frontal system will move into the area on Tuesday with light showers possible during the day extending into Wednesday morning.

Clearing later Wednesday afternoon with dry conditions and seasonably mild temperatures through the end of the week.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Showers ending early this afternoon with clearing late in the day, high in the low-mid 70s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear and much cooler, low in the mid 40s.

SUNDAY – Sunny and cool, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny and milder, high near 70.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, high in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of morning showers, clearing by evening, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the low 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   Small craft advisory in effect till 6am on Sunday for South-southeast winds becoming westerly by evening gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – Below advisory levels on Sunday but advisories possible Monday into Wednesday.
