Becoming mostly sunny and warm after early morning showers! Sunny on Sunday! Warm next week!


Skies are mostly cloudy early this Saturday morning, an area of showers has moved to our south and east, some lighter showers are moving through the Hudson Valley, temperatures are rather mild mainly in the low 60s along with muggy conditions.

Today a cold front will swing through the area and it will become mostly sunny by noontime, it will be warm but much less humid by this afternoon.

Sunday will start off chilly as overnight temperatures will dip into the 40s in most area, then with plenty of sunshine it will be a very pleasant late spring day.

Warmer with showers and thunderstorms likely Monday and Tuesday.

Dry and warm Wednesday and Thursday.

Continued warm on Friday but with a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a front moves into our area.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Some showers early then becoming mostly sunny, warm and less humid, high in the upper 70s.

TONIGHT – Clear and cool, low near 50.

SUNDAY – Sunny and pleasant, high in the low 70s.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with again a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Today,, winds becoming northerly around 10 knots, seas 1 foot,  water temperatures in the mid 50s.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible Sunday through Tuesday morning then no advisories expected Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.
