Very pleasant summer weather today and on Friday! Warmer and more humid over the weekend with some scattered showers!

What a difference a day makes as this morning we are enjoying cool temperatures ranging from near 60 degrees here in Clifton to near 50 in the colder inland areas, the humidity is very low and there is a nice breeze along with clear skies.

The anticipated showers and thunderstorms did not occur in the Clifton area as we had no rain at all yesterday while parts of Southern New Jersey received a few inches.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine as a high pressure moves into the area, temperatures will be a little below normal but the humidity will be much lower with dew points only in the 40s which is quite rare for the middle of July.

More sunshine with comfortable temperatures on Friday, the humidity will slowly rise at night.

Warmer and more humid on Saturday, there is a chance of showers early in the morning and then more showers and thunderstorms are possible in the late afternoon and evening.

Quite warm and humid on Sunday with more afternoon and evening showers possible.

The warmth and humidity will continue on Monday with a better chance of some storms as a cold front approaches the area. This front will move through early Tuesday morning with somewhat cooler and less humid air during the day on Tuesday through Wednesday.
