Skies are clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures have fallen to near 40 in Clifton to as low as 30 degrees at Walpack in Northwestern New Jersey, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine and it will be milder as tempertures climb into the low 70s, high pressure will be moving off the coast.

A warm front will move north of us in the morning followed by a cold front at night, it will be a warm day with showers and thunderstorms likely in the late afternoon and evening.

A nice weekend is anticipated with skies mostly fair and with seasonably mild temperatures.

A front system will give us a chance of rain mainly Monday night into Tuesday with fair weather returning for Wednesday.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness and mild, low in the upper 50s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely mainly after 4 p.m., high near 80.

SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s, chance of rain at night.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 15 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible advisories Friday night into Saturday, no advisories expected Sunday and Monday.
