It is a cool early morning across the area and temperatures range from the upper 50s in the Clifton area to some mid 40s in the cooler inland suburbs, skies are clear and the winds are mainly calm.

Today high pressure building in from the west will give us plenty of sunshine along with low humidity, temperatures will be slightly below normal but still be pleasantly warm.

The high pressure will move off the coast and a southwesterly flow of warmer air will be moving into the area on Thursday, humidity will increase especially at night, skies will be mostly fair.

Quite warm and humid Friday and Saturday with only a low chance of a shower both days.

A better chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday as a weak cold front moves into the area.
