THURSDAY  JUNE 15, 2017  5:50 A.M.

We have mostly clear skies early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are much more comfortable than the last couple of mornings with readings ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the low 50s in some inland spots, winds are light.

Today we should have a very pleasant mid June day with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures along with comfortable humidity as high pressure over New England controls our weather.

We should see an increase in clouds tonight as a warm front approaches from the west.  Some showers are possible on Friday and it should be a cloudy and cool day.

The warm front will move north of us on Saturday causing an increase in temperature and humidity for the weekend, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms both days but most of the weekend should be mainly dry.

A strong cold front will cross the area late Monday night with showers and possibly some heavy thunderstorms.

Tuesday should be cooler and less humid.  Another front may give us more showers on Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY  JUNE  14, 2017  5:51 A.M.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there are some scattered showers in the area, temperatures range from near 70 in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light.

The scattered showers will move offshore today and today will be cooler and much less humid as high pressure in eastern Canada builds into the area.

Thursday will be a cool and dry day as the high pressure moves off the New England coast.

Friday will still be cool but with more clouds as a warm front approaches the area.

The warm front will move north of us on Saturday with warmer and more humid air for the weekend along with chances of showers.

Warm and humid weather should continue early next week with a good chance of showers continuing..

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are extremely warm for this time of day ranging from the mid 70s in the Clifton area down to the low 60s in some spots further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be hot again with near record high temperatures as we should soar into the mid 90s along with higher humidity.  A cold front will cross the area tonight possibly accompanied by some shower and thunderstorm activity.

Tomorrow will be cooler and much less humid but temperatures will still be slightly above normal.

Cooler than normal temperatures Thursday and Friday, Thursday should remain dry but showers are possible on Friday as a warm front approaches the area.

The warm front will pass north of the area on Saturday with warm and humid conditions developing along with a chance of showers for both days of the upcoming weekend.

Warm and humid weather should continue into early next week with still a chance of showers.

Skies are clear early on this Monday morning and again it is quite warm with readings ranging from the low 70s in the Clifton area to some upper 50s in some of the cooler inland areas, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be another hot day with little or no clouds, temperatures will reach the 90s once again, humidity will be moderate and there will be a little breeze by this afternoon.

A cold front will be approaching our area tomorrow possibly touching off some shower and thunderstorm activity after 3 p.m., temperatures will once again hit the 90s along with increasing humidity.

Cooler with much less humidity on Wednesday and it should be dry.

Cooler than normal temperatures Thursday and Friday, Thursday should be dry but a warm front approaching the area on Friday may give the area some shower and thunderstorm activity.

Warmer and more humid air is expected for the upcoming weekend along with chances of showers and thunderstorms.

A Bermuda high pressure area will give us a southwest flow of hot air with increasing humidity today through Tuesday, each day will have temperatures in the 90s.

A cold front will cross the area Tuesday night possibly accompanied by some showers and thunderstorms.

Cooler temperatures Wednesday through at least the beginning of next weekend, we should be dry Wednesday and Thursday but showers are possible Friday and Saturday as a frontal system  approaches the area.
