Mostly cloudy today and continued cool! Mostly sunny and a bit milder on Wednesday! Showers likely Thursday night into Friday!

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and it is comfortably cool with temperatures ranging from around 60 in the Clifton area down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light northeasterly.   Yesterday in Clifton we recorded 1.22 inches of rain.

High pressure building in from the Great Lakes will give us another cool day, there will be considerable cloudiness but most areas will remain dry.

Slightly milder on Wednesday with more sunshine.

A warm front will move through on Thursday followed by a cold front on Friday.  Showers are likely mainly from Thursday night into Friday morning, some of the rain may be heavy at times. Temperatures will be warmer with higher humidity.

At this point the weekend looks nice with seasonably warm temperatures, plenty of sunshine and low humidity.

WEDNESDAY – JUL 26 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY – JUL 27 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – JUL 28 – Showers likely mainly in the morning then mostly cloudy, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – JUL 29 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – JUL 30 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – JUL 31 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Northeast wind to 16 knots, seas 2 feet. Belmar’s water temperatures is 77 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday into the day on Thursday; possible small craft conditions Thursday night through Saturday.
