Mostly cloudy and cool today and on Monday! Much warmer Tuesday through Friday!


Good morning everyone!    Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and there are still some light showers around parts of the area.   Temperatures range from around 50 in the Clifton area down to the low 40s further inland, winds are light from the northwest.

Today we will have a mostly cloudy and cool day, there is still a chance of some light showers mainly this morning but most areas will stay dry, winds will increase from the northwest.

Still mostly cloudy and cool on Monday and again there is a low chance of showers but again most areas will stay dry.

Much warmer weather Tuesday through Friday as a strong high pressure just off the southeast coast will bring in a southwest flow of air, temperatures will rise to near 80 on Tuesday then well up into the 80s Wednesday through Friday.

A cold front may give us some showers Friday night followed by seasonably mild weather for next weekend.

TODAY – APR 29 – A chance of a morning shower then becoming partly sunny, breezy and cool, high in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy, low in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – APR 30 – Cloudy with a chance of showers mainly in the morning, cool, highs in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – MAY 1 – Sunny and warmer, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 2 – Sunny and warm, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – MAY 3 – Mostly sunny and warm, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – MAY 4 – Partly sunny and warm, high in the mid 80s, chance of showers at night.

SATURDAY – MAY 5 – Mostly sunny and not as warm, high in the low 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory has been posted effective from 2 p.m. this afternoon until noon on Monday for west-northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 2-4 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Thursday.
