Chilly again today with showers possible! Significantly warmer weather tomorrow which will last the rest of the week!


Good morning everyone!   Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and there are some scattered showers in parts of the area, temperatures range from the mid 40s in the Clifton area down to the upper 30s well inland, winds are light.

A low pressure north of the area today will give us a mostly cloudy day with a few scattered showers possible, it will be chilly again with highs only reaching the 50s, inland some of the showers this morning may mix with some snow flurries in the higher elevations.

High pressure building to our south will give us much warmer weather on Tuesday, overnight temperatures will be in the 40s but rise quickly and reach the upper 70s in the afternoon along with plenty of sunshine.

Very warm weather Wednesday through Friday.  A weak cold front on Friday will give us a chance of showers.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry with seasonably mild temperatures.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – APR 30 – Mostly cloudy and cool with a chance of showers, high in the mid 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy then becoming mostly clear, low in the low 40s.

TUESDAY – MAY 1 – Sunny, and becoming much warmer, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 2 – Sunny and warm, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – MAY 3 – Partly sunny and warm, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – MAY 4 – Mostly cloudy and warm with a chance of showers, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – MAY 5 – Partly sunny and not as warm, high in the mid 70s.

SUNDAY – MAY 6 – Partly sunny, high near 70.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until noon today for westerly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 2-4 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected from tonight through Thursday;  possible small craft conditions on Friday.
