Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Friday morning and conditions are not as sultry as the last few mornings with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton to the low 60s further inland, still these readings are well above normal.   Humidity is moderate with dew points in the mid 60s.  Winds are light easterly.

Today we will have considerable amounts of clouds and there is a chance of showers mainly this afternoon, with the clouds and an onshore flow temperatures will not rise much, remaining mostly in the upper 70s.

Still a lot of clouds around for Saturday but we should stay mainly dry, temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than today.

Warmer on Sunday and there is a chance of mainly an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm, the humidity will rise with dew points reaching to near 70 by late in the day.

Very warm to hot and humid on Labor Day through most of next week as the Bermuda high pressure will again extend to our area.  Daytime highs through this period will again reach to near 90 and with dew points in the low 70s will make this coming week feel like the middle of summer instead of the first week of September.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Thursday morning and once again it is unseasonably warm with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s in Clifton down to the upper 60s further inland.  The humidity is high as dew points are in the uncomfortable middle 70s.

A cold front will cross the area later this morning but now it appears there will be no showers with the front.  It will be a little less hot today and we should see a decrease in humidity with dew points falling into the 60s by this evening.

Much cooler Friday and Saturday as high pressure over New England gives us an onshore flow.  There will be considerable cloudiness both days with a chance of light showers.

Warmer on Sunday with a low chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Quite warm to hot again from Labor Day through much of next week as the Bermuda high will build back into the area.  It will be humid also but we should stay mainly dry through this period.  So the weather next week will be more like mid-summer weather and not September like.

Skies are mostly fair early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are starting off very high with readings ranging from near 80 in Clifton to some upper 60s further inland, the humidity is very high with dew points in the sultry mid 70s, winds are mainly calm.

Another very hot and humid day again today as the Bermuda high pressure continues to dominate our weather with a west-southwest flow of air.  Temperatures once again will rise to the mid to upper 90s and with dew points in the mid 70s will send the heat index to near 105 degrees.  Skies will be mostly sunny.

A cold front is expected to cross the area tomorrow morning with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with more clouds it will be less hot and after the frontal passage it will become a little less humid.

An onshore flow of cooler air will be with us Friday into Saturday with a chance of light rain or drizzle along with considerable cloudiness.

Becoming warmer and more humid again Sunday and on Labor Day, there will be a low chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms both days.

It appears that most of next week will be quite warm and humid for the beginning of school but it should not be as hot as the last few days.

It is a warm and humid start this morning as temperatures range from the upper 70s in Clifton down to the upper 60s further inland,  dew points are in the low 70s, winds are mainly calm.  Skies are partly cloudy.

A heat advisory has been issued for today and tomorrow as a Bermuda high pressure ridge extends to our area which will produce the high heat and with dew points in the 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to near 105 degrees.  There will be plenty of hazy sunshine both days.

A cold front will cross the area around noon on Thursday, with more cloud cover it will not be as hot and there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  The humidity should drop by evening.

Much cooler weather Friday and Saturday as high pressure builds off the New England coast and an onshore flow develops.  There will be a chance of light rain or drizzle both days along with considerable cloudiness.

Somewhat warmer with dry conditions are expected for Sunday and Labor Day.

Today will be the first day of a heatwave as a Bermuda high pressure gives us a southwest flow of hot and humid air, there will be plenty of sunshine and it will be humid with dew points reaching the low 70s.

Even hotter weather for Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures rise to the middle 90s and with dew points reaching the oppressive 70s will cause heat indexes to rise to near 105 degrees, a heat advisory has been issued for both days, skies will be mostly fair.

A cold front will be crossing the area on Thursday afternoon or evening which will give the area a chance of showers.  It will still be hot but becoming less humid at night.

Cooler weather Friday through most  of the holiday weekend along with a low chance of showers each day as the front will be just to our south.

Our skies are mostly fair early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton down to some low 50s across parts of northwestern New Jersey, winds are light, dew points around around 60.

Today we will see mostly sunny skies as high pressure continues over the area, temperatures and humidity will be a little higher than yesterday as dew points rise into the 60s.

A west to southwest flow around a strong high pressure offshore will bring hotter and more humid air into the region starting on Monday with high temperatures reaching the low 90s and dew points approaching 70 degrees.

Dry weather with even hotter weather Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures reaching the mid 90s and with dew points in the low 70s that will help push heat indexes to 100-105 degrees, a heat advisory will probably will be issued.

A cold front will cross the area with little or no precipitation on Thursday but it will be followed by cooler air for Friday and Saturday.  The next chance of showers will be on Saturday as a front to our south starts to move north as a warm front.

High pressure will be with us today through the weekend providing plenty of sunshine each day, temperatures will be warm throughout the period.  Dew points in the comfortable 50s today and on Saturday will rise to the 60s on Sunday.

We will be having a heatwave Monday through at least Wednesday with temperatures reaching the 90s each day and with dew points rising to near 70 that will bring heat indexes up to near 100 degrees.

The next chance of showers are not until Thursday night as a cold front approaches the area.

After some morning cloudiness we should see mostly sunny skies, it will be seasonably warm but the humidity will be quite low with dew points falling to the very comfortable 40s as high pressure builds into our area.

Plenty of sunshine continues tomorrow through the weekend with seasonably warm temperatures continuing.  Dew points will be in the comfortable 50s tomorrow and Saturday but rise into the 60s on Sunday.

Hot and humid much of next week with temperatures reaching the 90s and increasing humidity with dew points around 70.  However we should see little or no rain through this period.

Our area has mostly cloudy skies early this morning, temperatures range from the low 70s in Clifton to the mid 60s further inland, it is quite muggy with dew points mainly in the low 70s.  I picked up .70 inches of precipitation from the overnight rains.

A warm front has moved to the north and the rain associated with the front has moved offshore.  Today we should see a mix of clouds and sun and it will be warm and humid.  A cold front will cross the area this afternoon only giving us a low chance of a shower.

Finally we will enjoy a stretch of nice summer weather starting tomorrow and lasting through the weekend with plenty of sunshine each day.  Humidity will be quite low on Thursday and only rise slowly through the weekend.

Latest indications are that next week will be hot with increasing humidity but most of the time we will remain dry.
