Outstanding late summer weather today through the weekend! Hot and humid much of next week!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton to around 60 in some area further inland.  There are some light sprinkles or showers falling in parts of the area.   Dew points have fallen to around 60.

After some morning cloudiness we should see mostly sunny skies, it will be seasonably warm but the humidity will be quite low with dew points falling to the very comfortable 40s as high pressure builds into our area.

Plenty of sunshine continues tomorrow through the weekend with seasonably warm temperatures continuing.  Dew points will be in the comfortable 50s tomorrow and Saturday but rise into the 60s on Sunday.

Hot and humid much of next week with temperatures reaching the 90s and increasing humidity with dew points around 70.  However we should see little or no rain through this period.

TODAY – AUG 23 – Becoming mostly sunny, high near 80.

TONIGHT – Clear, low around 60.

FRIDAY – AUG 24 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – AUG 25 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – AUG 26 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – AUG 27 – Mostly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

TUESDAY – AUG 28 -Mostly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – AUG 29 –  Mostly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Northerly winds to 13 knots, seas 2 feet.   Belmar’s ocean temperature is 76 degrees.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday through Monday.
