Dry with seasonably cool temperatures today! More rain from tomorrow afternoon through early morning on New Year’s Day!


Good morning!

Skies have become cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the low 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are light northerly.

Cloudy skies this morning with a slight chance of a couple of flurries then skies will become mostly sunny this afternoon along with seasonably cool temperatures, winds will be much lighter than yesterday.

A low pressure will be moving into our region on Monday with rain developing in the afternoon and continue heavy at times at night, it will become milder as a warm front moves to our north.
Rainfall amounts will be near an inch.

The rain will end during the early morning hours on New Year’s Day and it will be quite mild during the day with temperatures well up into the 50s but become cooler by late afternoon.

Colder and dry on Wednesday.

Models are starting to indicate a possible storm moving into our area on Thursday and Friday giving our area rain or snow depending on which track the potential storm takes, so stay tuned.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 20s.

MONDAY – DEC 31 – Increasing cloudiness with rain likely mainly after 3 p.m., high in the mid 40s.

NEW YEAR’S DAY – JAN 1 – Chance of rain before 7 a.m. then becoming mostly sunny and breezy, morning high in the upper 50s will drop to the upper 40s by sunset.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 2 – Partly sunny, high near 40.

THURSDAY – JAN 3 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high near 40.

FRIDAY – JAN 4 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – JAN 5 – Sunny, high in the low 40s.
