Skies have become cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A frontal system approaching from the west will cause cloudy skies today, there is a chance of light rain or drizzle this afternoon with the steady and heavier rain holding off until tonight, temperatures will be a little above normal.

High pressure building into the area from the southwest will cause fair weather Wednesday through Friday with temperatures continuing to be a little above normal. A weak cold front will come through dry Friday night.

The weekend weather at this point is rather uncertain with some computer models have rain for our area on Saturday while other models are indicating rain on Sunday night, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

TODAY – OCT 22 – Cloudy with a chance of light rain or drizzle this afternoon, high in the low 60s.

TONIGHT – Rain, mainly between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m., low around 50, total rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 3/4″ expected.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 23 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

THURSDAY – OCT 24 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 25 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 26 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

SUNDAY – OCT 27 – Partly sunny, high near 60, chance of rain at night.

MONDAY – OCT 28 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning for southwest winds gusting to 25 mph becoming northwest later tonight, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories still possible during the day on Wednesday; no advisories expected Wednesday night through Saturday.
