Cloudy today with a chance of morning drizzle! Very mild on Halloween with periods of rain! Dry and much cooler Friday through the weekend!

Cloudy skies persist early on this Wednesday morning and there is still some drizzle and fog in parts of the area, temperatures are mild with readings ranging form the mid 50s in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A weak low pressure offshore will continue to give us cloudy skies today with some drizzle especially this morning, temperatures will be milder with highs about ten degrees higher than yesterday. There will be a chance of a shower this evening but more showers are expected after midnight.

Very mild with showers on Halloween but models have shown that there may be a dry slot ahead of a strong cold front so there is a good chance that there won’t be any rain for the trick or treaters tomorrow evening. Temperatures will be quite mild with highs near 70 degrees very mild conditions persisting into the evening. A strong cold front will come through around midnight with some brief heavy showers and strong gusty winds.

Friday will be breezy and much cooler but with sunshine returning.

At this point the weekend looks to be dry and cool with less wind.

Dry and seasonably cool on Monday followed by milder tempertures on Tuesday along with a chance of a shower.

SATURDAY – NOV 2 – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY – NOV 3 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 4 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – NOV 5 – Partly sunny with a chance of an afternoon shower, high near 60.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory has been posted effective from 9 a.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Thursday evening; a gale watch has been posted effective form 6 p.m. Thursday evening until 10 a.m. Friday morning; no advisories expected Friday evening through Sunday.
