Partly sunny, windy and cooler today! Sunny and cool on Saturday with less wind! Milder on Easter Sunday with rain late at night!

Good morning!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning, some light rain showers have moved to our east and some snow showers overnight gave a dusting of snow across the higher elevations of Sussex County. Temperatures are cool with readings ranging from the mid 30s in Clifton down to around 30 further inland, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR APRIL 10TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 59 AVERAGE LOW: 40

RECORD HIGH: 82 – 2017 RECORD LOW: 21 – 1985

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 58 LOW: 42 PRECIPITATION: .22″

Strong low pressure off the Maine coast along with high pressure building from the middle of the country will give us a strong northwest flow of cool air along with partly sunny skies, winds may gust up to 40 mph.

Saturday will be a sunny day with slightly milder temperatures, it will still be breezy but less wind than today.

Easter Sunday will be milder but we should see an increase in clouds during the day with rain developing late at night as low pressure approaches our area.

Soaking rain especially on Monday morning as the low pressure moves through the area, expect 1 to 2 inches of rainfall.

Still a chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday with cooler temperatures.
