Yesterday’s heavy rain dumped over 2 inches of rain in one hour between 4 and 5 p.m. that caused considerable flooding in Clifton.

Today will not be as hot as an onshore flow along with considerable cloudiness will keep high temperatures in the 80s but the humidity will be high with dew points near 70. Also some scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are possible but we should not have the widespread flooding as we had yesterday.

Warmer and continued humid on Wednesday with still a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

We should be dry, hot and humid on Thursday.

A coastal low with possibly some tropical characteristics will likely give us rain possibly heavy Friday into Saturday, it will remain humid.

More showers are possible on Sunday as a weak front moves through the area and it will remain quite warm and humid.
