Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and again it is quite warm and humid with temperatures ranging form the low 70s in Clifton down to the upper 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high with mostly dew points in the lower 70s.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day and it will be quite warm and humid with showers likely this afternoon and evening, some showers may be heavy at times.

Dry, hot and humid weather on Thursday as high pressure builds into our area.

Low pressure off the southeast coast may develop into a tropical system as it moves up the east coast on Friday. Rain from the system is likely in our area and depending on the track the rain could be heavy at times. If the system becomes a tropical storm the name will be “Fay”

Quite warm and humid weather will continue into the weekend and a couple of fronts or troughs could touch off some showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening with the best chance of rain being on Saturday.

Still warm early next week but it may become slightly less humid, there still will be a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
