Very hot and humid today and on Monday! Hot weather to continue on Tuesday! Showers likely Wednesday and Thursday followed by seasonably warm conditions for the end of the week!

Skies across the area are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are warm with readings ranging from the mid 70s in Clifton down to the low 60s further inland. Winds are mainly calm or light southwesterly. Humidity is higher than this time yesterday with a dew point near 70.

Very hot weather will be with us today and Monday with the high both days well up into the 90s and with dew points near 70 will give our area heat indexes of over 100 degrees. We should see no rain both days but there is a slight chance of thunderstorms Monday afternoon mainly to the north of our area. A heat advisory is in effect through Monday afternoon. Overnight lows tonight will be in the upper 70s.

Tuesday will be dry but not quite as hot or humid.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday into Thursday as a cold front approaches the area, temperatures will be slightly cooler but the humidity will stay high.

More pleasant weather is likely Friday through next weekend with dry conditions and seasonably warm temperatures.
