Some light freezing drizzle is falling mixed with some light snow early on this Friday morning, and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 26 in Clifton down to 18 at Vernon, winds are light from the north.

A weak low pressure offshore will give us more precipitation today, light freezing rain should change to light snow this morning and end later this afternoon or this evening. Additional accumulations of 1-2 inches are likely.

The weekend is expected to be dry but cold. Saturday will be breezy but less wind is expected on Sunday.

Another weak low pressure will likely give us some light snow changing to rain on Monday, as of now only a dusting of snow is possible before the changeover to rain.

Tuesday through Thursday look to be dry with milder temperatures.

TONIGHT – Chance of light snow in the evening then partial clearing, low in the mid 20s.

SATURDAY- FEB 20 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high in the mid 30s.

SUNDAY – FEB 21 – Sunny, high in the mid 30s.

MONDAY – FEB 22 – Mostly cloudy with light snow likely in the morning changing to light rain in the afternoon, high near 40. Dusting of snow possible.

TUESDAY – FEB 23 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 24 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – FEB 25 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday evening for northeast winds today becoming north-northwest this evening through Saturday, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Sunday; possible small craft advisories for Monday and Tuesday.
