Sunshine returns today but it will be continued chilly! Sunny and cold again on Sunday! Snow changing to rain on Monday! Milder and dry Tuesday through Thursday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 26 in Clifton down to 18 at High Point, winds are light from the north. Be careful if you are heading out this morning for icy conditions on untreated roads and sidewalks.

High pressure building in from the west will give us a mostly sunny day but it will remain cold with highs mainly just above freezing.

Another sunny but cold day on Sunday.

A weak frontal system will give us mostly light snow changing to rain on Monday, snow accumulations before the changeover may be around an inch with somewhat higher amounts to our north and west.

Tuesday through Thursday will be dry and finally slightly milder than normal.

Friday will be partly sunny and cooler as a storm should pass well to the south of our area.

TUESDAY – FEB 23 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 24 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – FEB 25 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – FEB 26 – Partly sunny and cooler, high in the upper 30s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday morning for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Sunday; possible small craft advisories for Monday; no advisories expected for Tuesday and Wednesday.
