Increasing cloudiness and mild today! Rain after midnight through Sunday morning! Mainly dry weather next week and becoming warmer!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and with light winds there is a large difference in temperatures with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 47 in Clifton down to 31 at Walpack.

High pressure moving offshore will give us a nice mild day today with highs reaching the low 70s., we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon.

A storm system will give us rain mainly between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday morning with rain possibly heavy at times. There still may be a chance of a shower in the afternoon but we should see clearing later in the day. Temperatures will be a little lower than today. Rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch.

Monday will be a seasonably mild day but it will be breezy as the low pressure moves into the Canadian Maritime area and high pressure builds from the southwest.

Mainly dry and warmer weather the rest of the week with highs in the 80s Wednesday and Thursday.

A cold front may give us showers on Friday.

SUNDAY – APR 25 – Cloudy with rain mainly before 10 a.m., chance of an afternoon shower followed by clearing, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – APR 26 – Sunny and breezy, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – APR 27 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 28 – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

THURSDAY – APR 29 – Partly sunny, high near 80.

FRIDAY – APR 30 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Southerly winds to 15 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 2 a.m. Sunday morning until 6 a.m. Monday morning; advisories may continue through the day on Monday; no advisories expected Monday night through Wednesday.
