Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 50 in Clifton down to 43 at Walpack, winds are mainly calm.

A warm front will move north of the region this morning and a southwest flow of unseasonably warm air will move into our area with highs reaching well up into the 80s, it will become a little breezy in the afternoon. There is a low chance of a shower tonight and it will remain quite mild overnight.

Showers are likely on Thursday as a cold front approaches the area, temperatures will the clouds and rain will be lower than today but it will be a little humid.

The cold front is expected to cross the area Friday morning bringing in cooler and much drier air. It will be another windy day with some gusts close to 40 mph.

High pressure will be in control of our weather this weekend with dry conditions. High temperatures will be near normal on Saturday rising to above normal on Sunday.

At this point the weather early next week will be mainly dry with temperatures well above normal.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy and mild with a chance of a shower and possibly a thunderstorm, low in the low 60s.

THURSDAY – APR 29 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – APR 30 – Chance of an early shower then becoming partly sunny and windy, high near 70, possible wind gusts to 40 mph.

SATURDAY – MAY 1 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

SUNDAY – MAY 2 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – MAY 3 – Mostly cloudy, high near 80.

TUESDAY – MAY 4 – Partly sunny, high near 80.
