Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 57 in Clifton down to 46 at Walpack. Winds are calm or light southwesterly and the humidity is low with dew points in the 40s.

Another sunny day today as high pressure moves off the Carolina coast and a southwest flow of warmer air will be with us today with temperatures rising to the low 80s.

A cold front will likely give us showers on Tuesday

High pressure will then dominate our weather giving our area dry and cool conditions Wednesday through at least the beginning of the weekend. Temperatures will average slightly below normal and the humidity will be low.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – SEP 27 – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy with a chance of showers after 2 a.m., low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – SEP 28 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – SEP 29 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

THURSDAY – SEP 30 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 1 – Sunny, high near 70.

SATURDAY – OCT 2 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – OCT 3 – Partly sunny, high near 70.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday through Friday.
