Skies are partly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are mild with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 68 in Clifton down to 62 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high with some patchy fog mainly over inland areas.

Today will be a partly sunny day and it will be unseasonably warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s with some areas possibly reaching the 90 degree mark. With dew points near 70 it will feel even warmer. A cold front will come through overnight preceded by some showers and thunderstorms.

The front will be in our area Thursday and Friday with a chance of showers both days. Temperatures will be cooler with readings in the upper 70s which is near normal.

Very pleasant weather for the last weekend of summer with mostly sunny skies both days along with warm tempertures. The humidity will not be that high with dew points mainly in the low to mid 60s.

Dry and warm weather is expected to continued through at least early next week.

A front has moved to our south and today we will have an onshore flow of air, temperatures will be slightly lower than yesterday but the humidity will stay on the high side with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. Skies will be partly sunny.

The front will then move to our north and a southwesterly flow of quite warm and humid air will be in our area on Wednesday. Temperatures will reach at least the upper 80s and dew points near 70. There will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms at night as another front moves into our area.

Unsettled weather Thursday and Friday with a chance of showers as the front will be in our area. High temperatures will be mainly in the upper 70s with moderate humidity.

At this point the last weekend of the summer looks to be warm and dry.

Today will be a mostly sunny day, but we should still see some haze from the smoke from the western U.S. fires. Temperatures will be warm with highs in the mid 80s and the humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s. A front will sag to our south tonight giving our area a chance of showers and thunderstorms late tonight.

With the front to our south we will have an onshore flow of slightly cooler air on Tuesday but we should stay dry with continued moderate humidity. The front will move to our north Tuesday night as a warm front.

Wednesday will be quite warm and humid but a cold front approaching our area will give us a chance of showers in the afternoon and at night.

A chance of showers Thursday and Friday with near or slightly above normal temperatures.

At this point the upcoming weekend looks to be mainly dry and warm.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us another nice late summer day with plenty of sunshine with warmer temperatures and a slow increase in humidity. There will be more haze today than yesterday due to some of the smoke moving into our area from the western fires.

Monday will continue to be mostly sunny and warm but a back door cold front is expected to sage to our south at night.

Winds will be mainly onshore on Tuesday as high pressure builds from off the New England coast. The front to our south will move back to our north by Tuesday evening which may cause some showers.

Warmer again on Wednesday but with a chance of showers at night.

Unsettled weather expected at the end of the week as a couple of weak disturbances will be near our area causing a chance of showers both Thursday and Friday, temperatures will be at or slightly above normal.

Another very nice late summer weather day again today with near seasonable temperatures and low humidity along with plenty of sunshine. The temperature and humidity will be similar to yesterday but with less wind today.

As high pressure moves off the coast we will have a return flow of warmer and more humid air on Sunday.

Most if not all of next week will be warmer than normal and mainly dry with only a low chance of showers Monday night and again Wednesday night through the day on Friday, as a couple of weak fronts move through our area.
