Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 19 in Clifton down to 12 at High Point, winds are a little gusty out of the northwest.

Strong high pressure over our area will give us a sunny but quite cold day today, winds will be gusty in this morning and then diminishing this afternoon.

Sunday will be a mostly cloudy day with rain showers likely possibly beginning as a mixture of sleet and freezing rain in the morning especially further inland. High temperatures will be around 40 degrees.

Mainly dry weather next week. Temperatures will be very cold Monday through Wednesday with Tuesday being the coldest day with overnight lows around 10 degrees and highs struggling to reach 20 degrees. Not as cold Thursday and Friday.
