Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 24 in Clifton down to 19 at Sandyston. Winds are light mainly from the southwest.

Today will be a sunny day with milder temperatures but a brisk wind from the west will make it feel cooler. A cold front is expected to cross our area tonight with only a slight chance of flurries especially over northwest parts of New Jersey.

Sunny but colder on Monday as high pressure builds over our area.

A quiet weather week is expected with little or no precipitation and near seasonable temperatures.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the low 20s.

MONDAY – FEB 28 – Sunny, high in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – MAR 1 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 2 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 3 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

FRIDAY – MAR 4 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

SATURDAY – MAR 5 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. this morning through noon on Monday for west winds becoming northwest this evening with gusts to 30 knots, seas building to 4-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday night through Thursday.
