Sunny and colder today with diminishing winds! Dry weather much of this week, mild Tuesday and Wednesday, cooler Thursday and Friday! Milder over the weekend with showers possible Saturday night into Sunday!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 27 in Clifton down to 18 at High Point. Winds are still gusty out of the northwest.

High pressure building from the Great Lakes will give us a northwest flow of cold air today despite plenty of sunshine. Winds will be gusty this morning but diminish by this afternoon.

Milder Tuesday and Wednesday and we should stay dry. Skies will be mostly cloudy during the day on Tuesday and mostly sunny on Wednesday. A weak cold front will move through Wednesday night.

Cooler but continued dry Thursday and Friday as high pressure dominates.

Milder over the weekend but there will be a chance of showers Saturday night into Sunday.

FRIDAY – MAR 4 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

SATURDAY – MAR 5 – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 40s, chance of showers at night.

SUNDAY – MAR 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect till noon today for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible small craft advisories on Tuesday; no advisories expected Wednesday through Friday.
