Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 42 in Clifton down to 38 at Pequest, Sandyston and High Point. Winds are mainly calm or light northerly.

After having a couple days of chilly and cloudy weather, today will feature some sunshine and milder temperatures as highs reach the low 60s.

Saturday will be slightly cooler and a cold front will give us a good chance of showers in the afternoon and evening with a chance of an isolated thunderstorm that may produce some small hail.

Sunday will be a partly sunny day but another cold front may cause some sprinkles or flurries in the afternoon and evening.

Monday will be sunny but unseasonably cold with highs in the 30s and with gusty winds will make it feel even colder.

A slow moderation in temperatures as the week goes on and a warm front approaching on Wednesday may touch off a shower.

Thursday will be considerably milder with highs in the 60s but it will be mostly cloudy with again a chance of a shower.

MONDAY – MAR 28 – Mostly sunny, windy and unseasonably cold, high only in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – MAR 29 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 50.

THURSDAY – MAR 31 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, milder, high in the mid 60s.
