Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some sprinkles falling in parts of the area. Temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 46 in Clifton down to 36 at Sandyston, winds are from the west 5-10 mph.

A cold front approaching from the west will cause partly to mostly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, some storms may be accompanied by gusty winds and small hail.

Sunday will be cooler with a slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry, high temperatures will be in the chilly 40s.

Unseasonably cold on Monday with highs only in the 30s despite plenty of sunshine. It also will be windy with wind chill values falling to the teens.

Tuesday will not be as cold, but still well below normal in temperatures, with again sunny skies.

Wednesday temperatures will climb to near normal along with partly sunny skies as a warm front approaches our area.

Milder Thursday and Friday but there will be a chance of rain both days.

MONDAY – MAR 28 – Mostly sunny, windy and unseasonably cold, highs only in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – MAR 29 – Sunny, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 30 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – MAR 31 – Cloudy and milder with a chance of showers, high in the low 60s.

FRIDAY – APR 1 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the mid 60s.

OUTLOOK – A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 6 p.m. this evening until 6 p.m. Sunday evening; a gale watch has be issued effective between 6 p.m. Sunday evening until 6 a.m. Monday morning; advisories expected to continue during the day on Monday with some gale gusts Monday morning; advisories still possible Tuesday morning; no advisories expected Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.
