Another hot and humid day today with a chance of late day and evening showers and thunderstorms! Dry and cooler weather Monday through the day on Wednesday! Good chance of showers Wednesday night through Friday!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are unseasonably warm with readings at 5 a.m. ranging from 73 in Clifton down to 62 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm.

Today will be another hot day as temperatures reach the low 90s ahead of a cold front. Humidity will continue to be high with dew points in the upper 60s. The cold front will give us a chance of late afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. A heat advisory continues in effect.

Cooler and less humid air will be with us Monday through the day on Wednesday as high pressure builds into our area.

A frontal system will give our area a good chance of showers Wednesday night through Friday with near seasonable temperatures.

At this point the holiday weekend looks mainly dry and warm unlike last Memorial Weekend when some highs were only in the 40s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of mainly evening showers and thunderstorms, low in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – MAY 23 – Partly sunny, cooler and less humid, high in the upper 70s.

TUESDAY – MAY 24 – Partly sunny, high near 70.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 25 – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers at night.

THURSDAY – MAY 26 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 27 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 70s.

SATURDAY – MAY 28 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s.
