Partly sunny and much cooler and less humid today! Seasonably cool weather to continue through Thursday! Showers likely mainly Thursday afternoon through early Saturday morning!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. range from 60 in Clifton down to 48 at High Point. Winds are light from the north.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR MAY 23RD:

AVERAGE HIGH: 73 AVERAGE LOW: 54

RECORD HIGH: 91 – 1980 RECORD LOW: 41 – 2006

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 93 (New Record) LOW: 70 PRECIPITATION: .45″

After having record breaking heat this weekend today will be much cooler and less humid with highs in the pleasant upper 70s, skies will have a mixture of clouds and sun.

Even cooler Tuesday and Wednesday as an onshore flow and considerable cloudiness will keep most highs only in the upper 60s.

Still cool on Thursday with cloudy skies and a chance of showers as a frontal system approaches our area.

Showers on Friday with some heavy downpours possible along with milder temperatures and an increase in humidity.

Hopefully the frontal system will move offshore early Saturday morning so we could have a mainly dry holiday weekend with seasonably warm temperatures.
